Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
